Otto and Teo grew up in Jersey City. They’ve played soccer since they could walk. Their local club was JCSA, and from there the path went through ECNL and MLS Next academies. Somewhere along the way, the games that stuck weren’t the showcases or the tournaments. They were the last-minute pickup runs at Garfield, Pier 40, and Sinatra on a hot summer night or freezing during winter break, games with no ref and no bracket, just people and friends who wanted to get out and play.

Both brothers captained Dickinson High School, a local Jersey City public school. Otto went on to win a USYS national title with Cedar Stars Academy, and now plays club soccer at Georgetown University. Teo currently captains the Dickinson squad and plays club in ECNL.

Between the practices and the travel, pickup stayed constant. It’s where they met strangers who became teammates, and where soccer felt raw and closest to why they loved it in the first place. This product is their attempt to bring that same energy, competitive and open at once, accessible to anyone in the Tri-State area who wants in, without having to already be tapped in to a gatekept network of players. Essentially, a community of soccer, accessible for all.
